About the Association
The association is a voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit union of individuals. The purpose of the association is to connect and support underrepresented groups in the Czech cybersecurity environment, primarily women, sexual, ethnic, and other minorities, as well as those who do not identify with the mainstream.
The main activities of the association include:
- Providing mentoring and organizing educational events.
- Connecting CyberGals, employers, and employees.
- Conducting educational activities in the field of cybersecurity.
The association divides its membership into three main levels: CyberGals, CyberLadies, and CyberBoard. CyberGals are anyone who wants to take advantage of the opportunities the association offers, whether it's participating in events, job hunting, education, or chatting on Discord. A person becomes a CyberLady when they apply for membership in the association and are accepted. Membership carries the rights to co-decision-making on the development of the association and acquired resources, as well as the obligations to adhere to the articles and participate in the management of the association. CyberBoard is the statutory body and is composed of the foundresses of the association.
